My assignment ended as the Web Design company I was working at. To my surprise it was VERY sad for to me bring my time there to a close. I made a few very good friends while working there. But like anything else, I pick up and keep going. So then I took a few weeks to search for a job {which is a full-time job in it self} and I taught myself more web site design HTML codes and PhotoShop. The black and white picture shown to the right is my very first PhotoShop project I complete. Of course, I had to include my baby girl Ellie. I took a few pictures from the beach earlier this year and created a pretty combination.

The week of Thanksgiving we did not get the opportunity to visit Dewey's dad and Penny in West Virginia, mainly because the transmission in my van died, bit the dust, croaked, - yeap you name it, it did it. Months before we made plans for my mom to go to San Diego to see my dad, didn't want her to be home alone on Thanksgiving, therefore, when we ended up not going to WV mom was not home. We still met at her house and prepared Thanksgiving dinner. Dewey cooked the turkey and the ham, Erin made an awsome chocolate pie and stuffing, Jermaine and I provided the smiles to keep everyone going. - oh oh wait, yeah we watched Ellie. {wink-wink} Anyone who knows me knows I don't like to cook. Good thing Dewey loves to cook.

Thanksgiving was nice; however, without my 'mommy' there it just was not the same. I missed her and so did everyone else. Dewey did get the chance to talk to his Aunt Norma and Grandmother Faye, but he had a really tough time without his mom and sister here. Matter of fact, considering the year we've had, we are looking forward to 2005 ending.

  • Ellie had a school Christmas program with her class. She took her picture with Santa {last year she was too afraid}. With the rest of her class she sang I wish You a Merry Christmas, Jingle Bells, Dashing Through the Snow and Frosty the Snowman. Check the pictures out in the photo album.

  • At her school Ellie had a Christmas party the week before Christmas. Mommy went into help with the festive time. I had a great time. The kids loved all the festivties. Oh and I never knew how many kids actually love cheese, had a cheese tray & I could not get it to them fast enough. I loved the idea of them eating cheese. There are picture in the photo album.

  • My dad came home for 42 hours for Christmas, it was a short stay but we enjoyed him here for Christmas. Check the pictures out in the photo album.

  • Ellie just loves Christmas, this year was even more fun than last. I love seeing how she reacts to everything. Check the pictures out in the photo album.

  • A few days after Christmas Dewey slit his thumb open at work. He ended up getting over 30+ stitches. He did it good this time. However, he did manage to make it to work everyday. He did his best. We had plans for New Years Eve, but with his hand hurting so badly we ended up staying home. The two of us enjoyed a quit evening at home together. Ellie stayed the night at her Mamaw's house, which is one of her all time fav things to do.
